Robert Platshorn served the sentence for any marijuana offense in US history: Thirty years in federal prison with no parole. It was for smuggling tons of pot back in the 1970's when he went by the name Bobby Tuna. Magnolia Pictures has confirmed that they will bring Bobby into the Philadelphia Cine Fest on April 9th for a screening of the documentary named Square Grouper that tells his story. Trust me, with chemotherapy drugs, the insomnia induced from brain radiation, and the stress of wondering if you'll endure the chemo, never mind the cancer, you may come to appreciate.

I already know what you are thinking. "It's an isolated incident." Well, not really. Lydia Coenen was selling lemonade in her front yard in Appleton, WI that was a summer tradition for six years. The police shut down them and came. If an exception could be made by them, her dad asked. They said they "had to follow orders." er ".ordinance." In June three boys in Bethesda, MD were selling lemonade to raise money for children's cancer research. Same story. Them shut down and hit on their parents for not having the proper permits, with a ticket.

Playing on the road is never straightforward. There are a lot. This is the first road game under a new staff so I am certain that there are a few kinks to work out. On the plus side we'll be playing in front of an unenthusiastic crowd of 25,000 Tree fans on recreational marijuana. Usually close to 10,000 Husky fans appear because we travel and have a lot of alumni in the Bay Area. Since our fans load up on beer and liquor before the game odds are we will create more noise. The last time Washington played with with Stanford on the road it appeared as though it was a home game for UW. In other words I don't think the view website audience will be much of a factor. I think it's a great road game.

I hope that Phil's death does not drain. That exact same life force which made her cavort with disco boys and have affairs and dance all night.
